We are looking for an innovative and analytical Materials Manager who develops practical solutions and uses technology to optimize processes and enhance efficiency. You will proactively lead key projects, such as supplier selection and price investigations, ensuring they deliver tangible results. By building strong relationships with stakeholders and team members, you foster collaboration, create buy-in, and ensure procurement is closely aligned with business needs.

Your responsibilities include

As a Materials Manager in our organization, you play a key role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our procurement processes. You combine operational excellence with innovative thinking and analytical insight, driving optimized processes and delivering strategic value to the business. Below are the responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities:

• Supplier Management:

o Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.

o Evaluate supplier performance and optimize partnerships.

• Contract Administration:

o Support contract negotiations and monitor performance.

o Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Compliance and Process Improvement:

o Ensure adherence to internal policies and legal standards.

o Identify and implement process improvements to enhance procurement efficiency.

• Reporting and Analytics:

o Prepare and present procurement performance reports.

o Analyze data to inform procurement strategies and decisions.

This role requires a professional with a technical mind & with an aptitude for commercial awareness. You’ll become part of the Procurement department, and your role will involve working with different departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination across the organization.

Your background, qualification and skills

• 1–3 years of procurement experience, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.

• Strong understanding of procurement processes and supplier management.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information to pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical audiences.

• Proven experience in planning, scheduling, and monitoring work to meet deadlines and (quality) targets.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems and data analysis tools such as Tableau is an advantage.

• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
